Looks like a full (like ground and sky) 360° panorama.
This moment tears at my heart. Not just for Thor’s sad realization that he can no longer trust his brother and the small, sad smile he has when pointing that out to Loki, but for the psychological state that Loki is in here. He’s fully accepted the monster within; the process that started with The Avengers is complete. He’s let go of any expectation that he can be anything else, that he can be allowed to be anything else. And you don’t trust monsters. For all that this is supposed to be part of the plan to defeat Malekith (and we don’t see the brothers make this plan, so that’s a supposition on the part of the audience), Loki is almost relishing his part as the monster. As the betrayer. And he’s reminding Thor of that, reminding Thor that if he’s going to be treated as a monster then by all that’s holy he’ll be a monster. He’ll betray anyone and anything to get what he wants, and Valhalla help anyone who gets in his way.
As always matchgirl42, love your thoughts on Loki, Thor et al. Here’s my monkey wrench - some monsters can be trusted (Angel, Spike, Anya to name a few). I say you & me - we sit down with Loki and Thor and watch all 7 seasons of Buffy. Then we start down that road to Redemption for dear Loki. Don’t you think the brothers would be grateful for our intervention? Just sayin’.
Of course! :)
